Caring adults will learn how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among youth ages 10-18

Join us for a FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) training at Bayside Fire Hall's Community Room from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. This class is open to the public for adults 18+.  You can choose from any of the three available classes.

 

 YMHFA is an evidence-based certification that is good for 3 years. To learn more about this training, visit the National Council's website.

Join Sarah Lovette for this High School Photography Workshop and learn how to use photography to tell stories.

High School Students will learn how to use color to evoke emotion and enhance storytelling and understand purposeful symbolism to convey specific ideas and emotions. The workshop is open to all students in 9th through 12th grade. Materials will be provided. There is no cost to participants.  Limited space is available.

Learn the art of story telling with this free 6-week workshop for High School Students!

Learn from experienced storytellers how to craft a tale and capture an audience with this weekly workshop just for youth grades 9 - 12. The workshop will culminate in a live performance at the Gerald C. Wilson Auditorium on November 18.  No experience is necessary to sign up and you are not required to participate in the live performance.  Parent permission is required.
