Explore The Rock Summer Program

About the Event
Healthy Kodiak and KANA Prevention is partnering for Explore the Rock Summer 2021. Kodiak students entering grades 3-12 are invited to join in our twice a week outdoor activities designed to promote physical activity and outdoor education while building resiliency through personal growth, family connections and respect for our island heritage.
Due to concern for health and safety, we are unable to lead in-person group hikes. This year’s program will focus on encouraging parents and guardians to lead their youth on the hikes. Hidden prizes on the trail will teach participants to maintain trail awareness. In addition we are introducing Geocaching to foster the development of technical navigation skills and integrity. Anyone is welcome to participate but only students entering grades 3-12 are eligible for prizes. Please refer to the registration form for additional information.
To register, download the registration form and email your completed copy to email@example.com.
Staff will be using the KANA Prevention Programs Facebook page as our primary outlet for information. We can be reached through Facebook Messenger or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
