This relatively short hike takes you up to Heitman Lake. The trail is well worn and easy to follow. There are a couple of muddy spots where the trail splits then regroups. It can be quite boggy when wet out, so wear appropriate shoes. The lake is a lovely spot for a picnic. If you continue up the trail behind the lake, there are lovely views.
